Immigration Services impacted by PSAC strike

Apr 27, 2023, 17:02 PM

Many federal government employees have been on strike since April 19, as part of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) labour disruption. The strike is impacting numerous government services, including immigration matters.

CWICE works closely with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to process applications for our clients. Our agency will continue to offer assistance to children, youth and families during this time, however, we anticipate that applications and other immigration services provided by the Government of Canada will be delayed.

Settlement services provided by our community partner organizations remain available, and CWICE is operating as normal to provide service and advice to our clients. Please continue to contact us if you need support.
